New Era College of Arts, Science & Technology, the first private institution in Botswana to offer engineering programs, commemorated a momentous occasion with the grand opening of its Executive Administration building on their campus. The event welcomed esteemed guests, including the College President and Founder, Mr. Esfandiar Ghodrati. This celebration marked the culmination of a substantial twenty-five million pula investment in constructing this state-of-the-art facility.
The highlight of the event was the unveiling of a captivating monument by acclaimed local metal sculptor Kabelo Julius Morokotso. Named the Cheru Beam, this remarkable sculpture portrays two legs, symbolizing the transformative journey of New Era College staff and students. The Cheru Beam stands proudly in front of the iconic building, serving as a powerful testament to New Era College's unwavering commitment to education and personal growth.
Addressing the attendants, the College Founder & President Mr. Esfandiar Ghodrati expressed his elation at witnessing the realization of this remarkable project. He emphasized the college's dedication to providing a conducive learning environment and fostering a culture of academic excellence. Ghodrati said, "Today marks a significant milestone in our journey. The Chief Executive Officer Professor Amos Thapisa echoed Ghodrati's sentiments, underscoring the impact the new building will have on the college's operations. Thapisa stated, "The completion of the administration building is a testament to our vision for New Era College. The guest of honor, Mr. Gobusamang Keebine, president of Business Botswana, delivered insightful remarks that shed light on the significance of business investments like these for the nation's development.
